Why can't I see this person's wall on Facebook?

I have a friend on Facebook who seems to have hidden their wall. Furthermore, they've been untagged in every photo except ones from their own albums. I've had many mutual friends confirm that they can't see the person's wall or photos either. We're still friends, so it seems like it's not a block. What's the explanation? Internet gremlins?
