Well they were right you totaly handled that like a gentleman. maybe this will help. Girls are weird even I don't understand them and I am one. I guess the best thing you can do is sit down and talk to her about it. If she goes away to collage you'll never know and talking it out can't hurt. If she starts being forseful with her answers or realy emotional just back down and try to calm her down
