I got a ticket for operating a limo as a taxi in san francisco. it's a misdemeanor what are my options?

The police was conduction a limo check and i did not have a waybill then he asked my passenger to come out of the car. when he asked her if she had called for a limo she said No and that i picked her up from the curb side. I have no idea what to do
